We also partner with industry-leading third party organisations to provide the latest in digital planning and surgical guides, for precision-planned surgery with a high level of accuracy and predictable results.
What is CBCT?
CBCT, or “cone beam” CT, is a low-radiation alternative to conventional CT scan, which gives excellent detail of bony tissues, for surgery of the teeth, jaws and facial bones.
The dose of radiation administered with a CBCT can be less than 10% of that of a conventional CT, which is an important consideration especially in paediatric patients.
In some circumstances, you may be referred for further imaging or investigations outside of the practice - if required, this will be discussed with you at your appointment.
Please note that we only offer imaging for patients referred for treatment, and we do not accept referrals for radiological investigations only. If you require investigations for treatment outside of the practice, please ask your practitioner to refer you to a radiology provider.
